comments:  I was on a walnut kick when I began this series of boxes, culminating in this almost-all walnut work. The holly and ebony striping add finesse. Brass hardware and the usual black velvet bottom interior lining complete the ensemble. Short legs raise this treasure box 3/4" above the table surface.
